Family & Domestic Violence

Family & Domestic Violence

During the past two decades, there has been an increased community awareness of domestic violence and its significant consequences. Relationships Australia is opposed to the use of violence in relationships and the exploitation or abuse of any person. We support and encourage initiatives that promote human relationships which are based upon respect, dignity and non-violence.

COVID-19 may lead to increased rates of family and domestic violence with additional risks for women and children, particularly with the introduction of necessary movement restrictions and isolation measures.

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, please be assured that family and domestic violence services are still operating. Some services may provide support in different ways as required under health directives.

Relationships Australia WA is continuing to deliver family and domestic violence support services during this unprecedented and difficult time. To access support for you and your family please call us on 6164 0270.
